Key highlights
- Determined new information architecture based on usability testing (card sorting) and website usage analytics.
- Rewrote and edited multiple web pages to adhere to goal of making content more plain language and accessible to average Canadians.
- Worked with an outside agency to design the site and migrate existing content.
- Performed quality assurance/editing audits on hundreds of pages following migration for accuracy and accessibility.
- Fostered relationships with subject-matter experts and colleagues throughout OSFI to facilitate the adoption of web communications best practices, such as plain language writing and usability-focused design.
